Cute town, great places to eat and a lovely river. Check out the old cemetery and the historical museum!

Check-in process was easy. Much appreciated after a long shift, especially coming into a clean and warm environment. And the local menus for food was an extra bonus.

I was able to do my final packing before a larger trip, and enjoyed the comfort and quiet it offered me. I’m looking forward to a longer stay in the future!

Was not able to get to the property due to fire danger so could not rate cleanliness bu but gave good ratings because the host was so helpful and cooperative about refunding our money based on fire risk. So we assume all property was good.

You can spend an afternoon exploring the galleries in Nuui Cunni Native American Intertribal Cultural Center and Museum during your travels in Lake Isabella.
Though Kern Valley Hospital might be what brings you to town, perhaps you'll have a chance to explore more of Mountain Mesa while you are here.
After visiting Kern Valley Dog Park, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Lake Isabella.

Lake Isabella is nice. The hotel is a dump and you have it like a very nice little country hotel. It is junk, unclean, and unsafe.
