"This hotel could be amazing, but needs some money spending to bring it up to standard. We didn't have anything too bad but plug sockets coming of the wall, drawers that don't open and leaky kettles don't give a great impression. Some other guests complained of bigger issues and asked to move rooms. Most importantly if you have young children this probably isn't the hotel (or destination) for you. "We stayed here for 4 nights (2 adults with 2 grown up children) and it was fabulous for us. Location was perfect, beds are very comfortable, housekeeping is excellent, it has air conditioning which was great. We didn't have a car but bus and ferry stops are within a couple of mins walk. Our hosts Umberto & his wife were so nice and Umberto gave us very helpful advice and very interesting local knowledge, and he speaks very good English!.
