Very spacious accommodations air conditioner worked great. When checking in very unfriendly felt like we were checking into a prison!! I was in the lake area, North Carolina five times with my fire/police department from West Chester Pennsylvania area to provide hurricane relief and supplies to the residents affected by Hurricane Helene..was very disappointed in the reception we got even after we told them this is the fifth time I’ve been here helping …very disappointed, weren’t asking for anything, but it would’ve been nice to get a tad of appreciation and been treated better. When we got to the room, they were two flights of very steep steps. My wife called the front desk to ask if they had something less steps she was greeted with a response that was very hostile and annoyed.I am just recently recovering from major abdominal surgery. my wife was so put off by the reception that she got that we just wound up staying where we were and me Dealing with multiple flights of steps. Our situation has changed and we needed to extend our stay and come back for two more days once again unfriendly uncaring unsympathetic just blew us off and said go to Expedia or something we can help you!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!
