It has two great suites with jacuzzi tubs and a walk in shower! It also has a huge loft with a queen size pull out couch. It is located near the top of the mountain in beautiful Riverbend, a gated mountain community. Within the neighborhood is a beautiful private lake that has a white sandy beach, Broad River to fish, waterfall, walking trails and a large pavilion to relax, grill out or watch the sunset... Book your stay with us and make memories! Numerous wineries and breweries are nearby as well as lake/riverside dining.
This cabin is 7 mins from Chimney Rock, 30 mins from Hendersonville, 50 mins from Asheville, & 1 hour & 15 mins from Charlotte.

Perfect for nature lovers

If you want to relax and enjoy nature, this is the perfect place as it is secluded and private. It had everything we needed and more. The kids had a blast in the river (Ingles sells rafts for $13) and loved making smores at night. We used the free kayaks to fish in the lake and noodles and beach chairs were provided.. The lake and river are located 5 minutes from the cabin, near the entrance. The cabin was spacious yet cozy, if we are in the area again, we will definitely come back!

weekend stay

A few girlfriends and I stayed for a couple nights for a small getaway, we were able to visit some wineries in Hendersonville and the Biltmore in Asheville because of the cabin's somewhat central location. We arrived around 9 pm so the house was very difficult to find, so I would suggest leaving a light on and letting guests know how difficult it is to see the house at night. We also struggled unlocking the deadbolt on the door, the doorknob unlocked easily. Overall we had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed our stay at this clean, cozy cabin! Loved the location and cleanliness. Thank you!

Nice place with great amenities

Loved the cabin and location. Clean and well appointed. Only thing that could be helpful is curtains in the upstairs bedroom and some clothes hanging space. Great community with awesome swimming hole and private lake.

Lake Lure getaway

Beautiful neighborhood and private access to mountain river and lake were so enjoyable. House could use some cleaning of the porch furniture and the outdoor firepit is not really feasible to use. The home interior is quite nice and clean, however the kitchen is lacking as far as cookware and needs a toaster. The neighboring home has some aggressive sounding dogs that greet you with each coming and going with their barking.

Great neighborhood, family cabin feel

It was just the two of us staying at the cabin with our dogs. Upon my first communication, I was impressed and comfortable being able to talk to them. They were very accommodating. We lost power for a few hours due to a strong storm. They were good about keeping us updated. The neighborhood is fantastic! Private lake, trail, waterfall, swimming hole. I don’t think you can beat the location. Online the pictures make the property look a little newer than when you arrive. I would suggest updating the mattresses and kitchen supplies. Maybe all the personal items could be organized and saved in one closet? It would be nice if there was purposeful planning in the kitchen. It seemed like there weren’t any matching silverware, knife set or pots and pans. It’s all functional, just dated and mismatched. A toaster is needed. There was a bit of outside cleaning needed in the backyard. These are all things that are personal preferences. Bathrooms were nice and updated. Living room was comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay. Having access to kayaks or canoes would have made it even better.
