"The biggest plus of the hotel was its staff. Every single person I spoke to was polite and very helpful. They tried really hard to make sure I understood them. This is very important and makes a huge difference to how good the experience is. The hotel was clean byt it is a litte dated. Good option to stay for one night before or after your flight."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Dino in Baveno. the location was exellent-just a short walk to the ferry terminal, making it easy to explore the Borromean Islands and the surrounding towns. We even a dinner in Switzerland, which was lovely and only a 45 min drive. The restaurant at the hotel was also worth checking out for dinner. One of our favorite features was the beautiful pool. It was such a great treat after a morning of sightseeing. Our room was clean, comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The housekeeping staff was very attentive and accommodating throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent selection of items and the staff was great! We would gladly stay there again."

"We stayed for a night since we were flying next morning. Very kind staffs. Nice and clean room. Wonderful breakfast selections compared to Holiday express in US. 5 euro/ person for the shuttle to the airport. A staff recommend the restaurant near by (it seems like only one restaurant). If you want to go to that restaurant instead of the hotel food, make a reservation early enough. We went there and had to wait 45min. Overall hotel itself is excellent."
