"This is a beautiful home directly on the lake with views of Okemo from the living/kitchen area. We had a great stay for a two day ski weekend at Okemo. It’s a short drive to the Jackson Gore base, and not much longer to the main base. The home has a great entry way for ski and boot storage as well. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen it well equipped, and you can tell the home owners take great care if this home. I deducted stars because this home is managed by Vacasa and the bed linens and bathroom linens are like staying in a cheap motel—no covers on the duvets, and towels that barely fit around your body. We had two minor issues that I reached out to Vacasa about and while they initially responded saying the local team would call me, no one ever responded. Even after we checked out their last message said my concern was “under review.” So, all in all the house is lovely, but the management experience is terrible, so if you run into an issue you’re on your own. And the fireplace was deemed “unsafe for the remainder of the season” immediately prior to our arrival. "

"This is a great house all around: clean, stocked with everything one would and it came as advertised with clear and concise instructions. The proximity to the mountain was perfect and the owner was an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to and during our stay - a real professional."

"Perfect Vermont cabin for family getaway. Great location, less than 15 minutes to skiing at Okemo but far enough removed that you feel like you’re away from it all. Great views from the cabin of the lake and mountains. Sharon and Paul were such gracious hosts. They had games and activities set up for the kids at the cabin. We had some major winter weather over our stay and they were giving us regular condition updates."
