Since opening in 2019, we have really honed our formula for assuring amazing getaways for our guests, but if any issue arises, we live just a block over and are on-call. Christmas in Lake Odessa

Listing was accurate. Very clean. Christmas tree was nice touch! I’m sure it would be awesome during the summer when you could utilize the beautiful deck.

Great lakefront cottage

We had an excellent stay here- the description and photos are accurate and the overall process went really smoothly. I wish it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the water more, but we will definitely consider staying here again during the summer!

Relax with Family

We were surprised with how nice the property was. The deck is the perfect place to relax and catch up with family. The hot tub is an added bonus. Everything we needed was just a short walk away (Parks, Bakery, Restaurant). The host is responsive and provided several unexpected perks. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Sweet cottage

As soon as you walk into this sweet cottage and see the lake view and spacious deck, you start to relax and know that you will have a great time on Jordan Lake. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and paddle boat. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for a sleepover with cousins. We will definitely be back when in the area visiting family!

Perfect WFH Covid getaway

We enjoyed the most relaxing weekend! Everything was incredibly clean, wonderful view, and good WiFi to take some zoom calls. Jason laid out the most thoughtfully detailed guidebook, including reviews of each restaurant in the area. The hot tub was perfect and the kitchen is well equipped with gadgets to make your own meals! Would definitely stay again.

Weekend getaway

Overall, very enjoyable. Lots of amenities and things to do. Only criticism was yard was fairly overgrown, lots of cobwebs on dock. Neighbors were very close. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and sitting on the deck.

Beautiful view, lovely little cottage!

This property was wonderful! The owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed- he even let us use his pontoon boat from free for a day which was beyond generous. Cottage was very clean, super close to the beach ( two houses down) and a fun restaurant with outdoor seating almost across the street. A lovely park and the downtown are within walking distance as well. Lake was beautiful and our kids loved swimming off the dock and at the beach.

Beautiful Cottage on thr lake

Wonderful cottage. Stocked full with things you always need and usually forget. Stunning views of the lake while you soak in a hot tub. We had a fantastic time. Just the relaxation we needed. We will be back. Thank you again for making our Stay so enjoyable.

Absolutely Great!

Our family of 10 had a great time at the beach cottage. The home was clean and cute, and extremely comfortable with many areas to spread out. Many places within walking distance and the kayaks and rowboat provided hours of entertainment for the kids. Once we crashed at night, we loved the comfortable beds and top notch bedding. Highly recommend!

Lake house

This house worked perfectly for my family. My mom is elderly and had no issues navigating through the house. The outside area is set up to perfection with cute little conversation areas. The owner had nice touches throughout the house to make it feel welcoming. We will be staying again for sure!!

They Thought of Everything

The pictures don't do it justice. We were very impressed. All the little touches were great. We really appreciated the maple syrup on the table when we walked in. Loved the house and all the comfy-ness of it! We needed some R & R and we got it. Loved the suggestions on the chalkboard of where to shop and where to eat. Lovely town, good shopping and good restaurants. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful family weekend

We had 8 people and the cottage never seemed crowed. We had a wonderful time - stayed 3 nights. The cottage was very clean, well taken care of, and owner provided a nice Welcome Package. Plenty of towels. Hot tub was very relaxing and The lake was beautiful. Enjoyed the kayaks and row boat. We appreciated our pets could come with us. Thank you!

Fun for all

The Beach Cottage had everything we needed and more. Our group enjoyed the boats, hot tub, games, ample sitting/eating space inside and outside, fire pit and nearby basketball and pickleball courts. There was something for everyone. The hosts had clear instructions on the house and information about nearby restaurants and activities. We also appreciated the completely fenced-in yard so that our dog could be outside with us off leash.

We had a fantastic time relaxing on the lake. We had a family of four and our two dogs. There was plenty of space inside and out. Jason was very attentive and gracious with our requests. He left us plenty of drinks, s’mores fixings, and firewood for us to enjoy. We highly recommend the Lake Odessa Beach Cottage!

We had such a superb vacation at the Lake Odessa Beach Cottage! Jason was great to work with, and the property was perfect! Everything - from the lake views, the town, the hot tub, and the cottage itself to the information book, easy check-in and out procedure, fully stocked supplies, and the lovely welcome basket - was wonderful! Beautiful lake cottage with amazing outdoor space

This owner really knows how to VRBO. Had a great stay in July. We fished, swam, played pickle ball, went kayaking and paddle boarding. My college and high school age sons went fishing from the peddle boat as well as the dock. They caught bass, perch and carp. We are runners and ran the to Jordan Lake trail from the cottage as well as the Grand River Valley trail from the trailhead in Ionia- a 23 minute drive. We walked downtown to the bakery, grocery store and restaurants. The cottage is very clean and uses the spaces well. The hot tub is clean and well maintained.

Breathtaking

The pictures of the inside do not do this place justice. It is so beautiful. They think of everything to help make your stay very pleasant. Absolutely beautiful place and very clean. Asked for more wood. Was brought by in less than 15 mins. Would highly recommend this place for all. So relaxing. Bar & grill with bowling ally, right down the street.

Expensive for what it is.

This cottage is comfortable and clean. The interior has been updated and is well appointed. The exterior still needs a bit of landscaping and other cosmetic work. Neighbors are very close, but the views of the lake from the living room are really great. We reserved in March for a family reunion and later discovered that the prices have come down significantly. Nice, but overpriced for what it is...at $375/night.

Lil Get away '23

When we first arrived at the house and walked in, we were in awe. It was super clean, it's was furnished with EVERYTHING you need! They even had a welcome basket with graham crackers, marshmallows, and Hershey's for smores. The place was beautiful. The view was even better. I could definitely get used to waking up, looking out the patio doors at the beautiful lake. The place was amazing and we plan to come back for sure. The process was so simple! Very great 1st experience with VRBO!
