"The view was gorgeous, very quiet and isolated and loved the swing on the porch. I spent all of my time there if we were at the cabin. The cabin was clean but is dated. It smells old upon entering and could use some updates such as bathroom. It doesn't have central air however once closed up and fans going it cooled down quickly and nice and didn't notice any odor as much. "We all enjoyed this. Feels exactly like a mountain getaway. The decor and cabin itself are very rustic but has everything you need/want. Beds were super comfy. Kids loved the cabin and the meadow out back. It was perfect for us. Would recommend and would book again."

"We came to the area on a road trip from Ontario, Canada to see The Pretty Place and do some hiking. This is a great location for all of that. Everything is relatively close by. You can sit on the deck in the early morning and early evening and watch the deer that came out everyday. We will definitely consider this place again and would highly recommend to anyone"

"We enjoyed our little family stay at the cabin! Relaxing sounds from the creek in a remote valley near Table Rock and Jocassee. Only suggestion would be to install a w/d for those who stay longer than a weekend. Closest laundry mat is 30 min away -otherwise wonderful!!!"

The rocking chairs on the back porch are the perfect cure for whatever ails you. The cabin is remote, but its just a short drive to both Highlands and Cashiers. Lastly, the cleanliness of the cabin was great. We are already looking forward to returning when we can stay longer."

"was absolutely beautiful. I wanted to be secluded and away from the world and that’s exactly what this place gave me. It has a beautiful history and the place is absolutely breathtaking the mountains are gorgeous and the hot tub was perfect. The drive up is a little scary in a car (I was in a Nissan Sentra) and had no issues though but going down is a lot easier lol. It’s a beautiful place I loved it hope to stay again. "
