While visiting Lakehead-Lakeshore, you might make a stop by sights like Whiskeytown Shasta Trinity National Recreation Area and Shasta Lake.

I would stay here again and recommend to others

Nice people, beautiful area
We arrived in the dark and left in the dark, but it was better than driving on into Redding or Sacramento
Not a Lodge, a small Motel. Rooms were clean but needed better pillows, black out curtains.
Great place for history and scenic stops.
We live in Redding and wanted a place away from home to spend our Anniversary. We went on in to Dunsmuir the next day and had breakfast at Penny's Diner. Highly recommend the restaurant, very retro, and good food.
