"Amazing tented camp in the middle of nowhere (although road from Agadir direction was very challenging 7km off road). Tents were big and very comfortable, staff were really helpful, restaurant very good (but no alcohol), fantastic pool. Camp arranged quad biking which was expensive but a brilliant experience. One night here perfect, but wouldn’t recommend staying any longer as nothing to do and very hot in August, although the unexpected air con in the tents was a huge relief. Fab place for one...

Rien à proximité De la poussière partout sur les verres et assietes poser sur les table du restaurant. L’hôtel a l’air à l’abandon nous étions les seuls dans tout l’hôtel nous avons eu peur car on ne se sentait pas en sécurité. Hôtel TRES éloigné du centre, on a dû prendre un autre hôtel dans Marrakech. "

"The street down to the Riad seemed a little dirty but once you got into the Riad, it was a beautiful place in the Medina. Was greeted by abdel who did a Wonderful job settling us in. The breakfast was amazing with fresh breads, dips and freshly squeezed juices daily. All the staff including the cleaning teams and chefs work very hard and are very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. "

My host family took me to Lake Takerkoust (its dam powers all of Amizmiz and Marrakech) for a hike. Up here, you can see the entire floodplain and the river tributary that flows into the main lake. Far away on the other side, you can see a motorbike riding across the dirt road as if a speck of dust was slowly floating across space. As we sat and ate our picnic of fruit and veggy sticks, I couldn't help but wonder how much more Morocco is than just its stereotypical perception, a desert.
