"We found everything we needed for two and enjoyed the large terasse. We had a car which made it much easier to get to: local quiet beaches; Calvi; evening concerts in hilltop villages; and mountain walks. Would be difficult without a car I think, especially out of high season July/Aug when the trains run more often. Friendly host family, good daily market in the town, supermarkets walkable, lots of restaurants."

However, having booked the top floor apartment specifically for seaviews, the owner contacted us just days before our arrival to say that he had double booked us. "This appartment is really special . It is in a remote mountain village , which adds to the charm . For great value you have 5 star swimming pool, spectacular views from the front windows of the whole bay , and all with the charm of a quiet mountain village location . The caretaker is present and helpful and kind. Lots to do for mountain walkers and cyclists . "We have been there end of July/beginning of August, which was very hot. However, the apartment made it still very pleasant: Well functioning A/C, pool as well as very modern and new facilities and furniture. The kitchen is great! There is also regular cleaning of the pool and someone looking after the proprietary. This is a fantastic place. Only downside or advantage (depending on your preference) is that you always need a car for shopping. "

"The place has a wonderful deck with a dining table and lounging furniture to enjoy the magnificent ocean views. The views are also awesome from the living space and the bedrooms, a wonderful base to explore Cap Corse. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was good to use. Loved it. Make sure you're agile, the staircase to the bedrooms does not have a hand rail and the roads around are gorgeous to walk about and enjoy the flowers, but steep and winding :)"

We were very early in the season so many preparations and improvements were taking place, so we feel it would have been even better a little later into the month.
