"Front desk staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. Breakfasts, and breakfast staff were very good. Housekeeping was also very good. Views from the hotel were beautiful and the location is excellent. Parking was relatively easy. Hotel pool and surrounding area was very tired looking and needed umbrellas or some sort of shaded area and decor. Rooms were very dated and carpet was very worn. We booked three rooms and two of the couples commented that their beds were uncomfortable and needed to be replaced. All of us felt that it was a good place to go if you are only staying for a short time. At one time this hotel would have been stunning. With some renovations it could be a real gem again."

"It was a very pleasant stay, the room was a bit outdated, walls were thin but it had a very nice pool (very clean and big) with a nice garden with different trees and grass. The hotel also had parking and the staff was helpful and attentive. Hotel is a bit far from the centre but walkable."

"Relaxing place to stay whilst visiting the Douro region. welcoming and helpful host. It is a c 10min walk from the station which is straightforward if fairly fit, otherwise a short taxi ride..great views over the valley and river from the rooms and pool area. Enjoyed our stay, would recommend"

"Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was very well served. Very good for traveling as a couple! The only downsides were the lack of pool towels and the external lights and noise, especially from the automatic air conditioning at night."

Ce sont des hôtes exceptionnels, accueillants, disponibles et toujours de bon conseil pour découvrir la région.Dès notre arrivée, nous avions réservé un délicieux repas de cochon de lait, une excellente idée qui nous a permis de commencer notre séjour de la meilleure des façons.Un immense merci également à leur belle-sœur, Adriana qui est coiffeuse, elle s’est déplacée jusqu’au logement pour nous coiffer avant un mariage. Un service attentionné et très apprécié qui a rendu ce moment encore plus spécial.Merci à tous pour votre gentillesse, votre disponibilité et toutes vos attentions. Nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !"

"Oui, c’est loin de la zone touristique, mais l’endroit vaut la peine d’être découverte! La propriété est IMPECCABLE même si nous sommes en basse saison. L’endroit est toutefois difficile à trouver mais ça vaut le détour! C’est MAGNIFIQUE! Le paysage, le calme et le charme de l’endroit, tout pour nous plaire. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le petit déjeuner, très simple mais complet et très convivial. Merci Katia pour le service plus que courtois!"
