"An enjoyable stay and very homey/inviting.Be forewarned of loud church bells through the night ; I had earplugs so it did not matter.But it kept daughter awake. Being a lot of exposed stones (while rustic, charming, and very beautiful) making up the walls, there was a damp, strong smell upon arriving and throughout our brief stay. Not a surprise given the construction/build of earthen stonework.It was still a very clean place and enjoyable. Beds were very comfortable! We did no cooking, so...

"The check-in left me at the gate for 1.5 hours when the key code was not working. It took a while to reach someone on the contact numbers. On day 2 the key code for the main house was not working. It took even longer to get someone on the phone but they were unable to get assistance for 3 hours. I was between the door and my car for 3.45 hours. The temperature was a cold 41 degrees This ruined what would have been a good stay."

"Incredible location in the mountains. Breakfast of bread, cheese, meat, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and other simple items included every morning. The property is a cat sanctuary as well, though they all remain outside and are extremely friendly! We woke up to the sounds of bells on goats/cows every morning roaming in the mountains.
