"We stayed 4 nights while hiking and hitting the wineries and cider houses. It was nice, cute and well stocked. For us, it was pretty much centralized to all of our activities but there isn't anything within walking distance but a short drive to town for pizza or the grocery store."

"The property and stay was amazing and it was very close from the lake and winery's, the property was very clean had everything you need to cook in the kitchen even to wash your clothes, i used the grill it was also clean when i was using it, its a very quiet location and nice for a family weekend "

Just wish there was a regular coffee maker opposed to a Keurig. The outside of the building needs work, but seems to be a work in progress. Most importantly the inside was clean and comfortable. "The location is amazing! It's so close to plenty of shops and restaurants and Watkins Glen is a great home base to venture up either side of Seneca Lake for wine tasting. We had no problems walking anywhere we wanted to go from the property, but if you're not familiar with the area, be aware that there are some steep hills in Watkins Glen that may be difficult for some people to walk. "We stayed during the off season (April) and loved the location of this place to some of our favorite wineries! It's also a quick trip into Watkins Glen. The place itself was quirky with a fully stocked kitchen and clean bathroom. We saw the owners a few times and they are incredibly friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Other reviews complained about the beds but we didn't mind them at all. The living space was perfect for our two kids to play."
