"We had a short, comfortable stay. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and firm, and the location was quiet. The Anchor Inn provided an inexpensive alternative to staying in the Watkins Glen area, and was only a couple minutes from downtown. We'd definitely stay here again."

The level of detail when we opened the door (room lights on, soft music playing, decorated immaculately) I was impressed. The few communications with the owner showed that they cared far more than most hotels...this place was their baby, and they'd give the shirt off their back to make sure your stay was pleasant. It's an older property, but that was half the charm. I would 100% stay at this property if ever I end up in the Finger Lakes region again. A++++!!! "
