The hotel is located about 20 minutes away from the Montreal city. The rooms , bathroom and the dining area is very clean and well kept. The staff if friendly. We enjoyed staying there.

We stayed at the CLairiere Chalet,it was clean, quiet, beautiful. We walked the trails, went to the lake. I recommend staying at Chalets Lanaudiere!

We stayed in a room where the bathroom was as up the stairs. Not a big issue but be aware as well that the rooms on the second can only be reached via the stairs- no lift. You can access the pool from every floor and there are washing machine and dryer on the second floor against a small fee. You can order in food as whatever restaurant used to be next door has shut down. The staff was extremely helpful and the place was very clean. Showers are a bit small but water pressure is great . Property was beautiful. Staff was very helpful. One thing that would have made it more enjoyable for me…the cobblestone entrance while very nice was long but had no rails for guests like me with ambulatory needs. Was treacherous enough that I could not maneuver without physical assistance. Also the bathtub/ shower had no grab bars. I was unable to access the shower. Otherwise it was wonderful!

Peace and quiet, very friendly service, close to a snowmobile rental. I highly recommend it.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so friendly and warm and welcoming. They offered advice on restaurants nearby and were there to answer any questions. The room was perfect and quiet. I appreciated the lovely breakfast that was served every morning with an additional cost. The location was great. It is close to shopping, food and downtown. It is easily accessible through public transit. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay while visiting

We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay at Boxotel again if we’re in Montreal! Also, there is an adorable rescue dove in the lobby!
