The space

Guests note they love to relax on our outside porches and in our enclosed patio & backyard as they experience neighborhood life . Enjoy four lovely bedrooms, one king and two queens(one queen is a third floor suite with insuite bath and full mini-kitchen) and one twin( The twin has a twin daybed with trundle. We have additionally added a 4 inch memory foam mattress to the trundle so the twin bedroom is best for one adult or two teens/young children). We can accommodate up to 8 or 9 guests, 7 adults plus one or two or more children. Close walking distance to Franklin and Marshall College as well as Lancaster's Finest Restaurants & Central and Southern Markets. Ideal location to stroll throughout downtown Lancaster and enjoy everything Lancaster has to offer. 92 Walk Score and 82 Bike Score . CityFolk has enclosed locked area for your bikes. Explore Gallery Row, Central Market, Fulton Theater and many fine restaurants and Lancaster City on foot. Explore Lancaster to your heart's content and then return to relax in our spacious and elegant, peaceful and quiet townhome, filled with Lancaster History and FolkArt from Lancaster artists. We are also within ten to fifteen minutes by car from many popular destinations, such as the shopping outlets, Sight & Sound, Spooky Nook Sports, and Millersville University. We took great care when remodeling this home with our team. Don is a local builder well known for remodeling historic homes and adaptive reuse of Old Lancaster historic structures. We take pride in preserving while updating our little slice of Old Lancaster and believe that you will find it inviting and relaxing.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and all living areas, the front porch and back patio, and the 2nd floor porch. Guests enjoy the whole house to themselves. All NEW systems, 2.5 bathrooms, and 2 kitchens! Our home boasts a private 3rd floor apartment with ensuite bathroom and complete mini kitchen/office which enables a more spacious feel to the home than most other city homes. Guests note it is a benefit having the third floor full bathroom and mini-kitchen/office.
Other things to note
CityFolk is a great location if you are a remote worker. Cityfolk has Xfinity Extreme Pro Internet with up to 600 Mbps downloading capability. Internet access includes all areas of the home as well as the front porch and the 2nd floor porch. We have a portable desk with ergonomic chair that can be set up in one of several quiet remote working areas/rooms. We have two OVEYNERSIN seat cushions to enhance your comfort while working. We have accommodated up to three remote workers at the same time in our home. Checkout our midweek rates!
There are 2 Roku Tvs at CityFolk, one in the living room and one in the 2nd floor family den. They are set on guest mode to enable you to put in your account info. There is also an HDMI cable attached to the back of each TV for games. Please remember to log out of your accounts prior to checking out.
My schedule is flexible and I will always make myself available to answer any and all questions that you may have. Don and I love to travel and enjoy staying in unique homes. We search for homes that reflect the culture and character of the towns we visit, so that was our goal....to make CityFolk on Pine an authentic Lancaster home away from home.
