"Characterful property in a beautiful location. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and were very impressed. Would highly recommend this hotel, and we won’t hesitate to return."

"This is the quirkiest hotel I have ever stayed in. It has the feel and decor of a 16th Century fortified town house combined with crazy art and ornaments. The staff were super helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Loved the honesty bar and the rooftop beer garden. Loads of great little shops and restaurants inside and outside the city walls and as ever friendly cats all over the place. Breakfast was great and you can help yourself to the homemade cakes, the real hit is the spinach...

"Tutto nella normalità, buona colazione"

"Pros: Well equipped kitchen, lovely view from the two balconies, ideal base for hiking in the Pistoian hills and Appennin mountains."

"Excellent stay and quite spacious! Rita was an amazing host, and her breakfast was quite filling. I’ll be going back for a cooking class! This location is also very quiet and private, which I appreciated."
