Enzian is a unique kind of hotel with a traditional trim and some charming touches in the public spaces but modern and comfortable rooms. The bathroom was very well appointed. The hotel guide booklet in the room is a delight and the staff and owners clearly make a lot of effort to cater not only to top-end motorcyclists (even the WiFi password is a bike marque!) but to everyone including families, and are justifiably proud of their facilities and region, with plenty of information and local produce available. For me it was only a brief overnight stop in transit and so I didn't get to try out the spa area. Breakfast was sumptuous for an establishment of this scale.
The receptionist was busy elsewhere when I arrived, but I was soon attended to in a welcoming and professional manner when I rang the bell; similarly getting coffee at breakfast took a bit of initiative but was fine. The lobby was a little hectic with assembling guests when I passed through, but that might have been because of the extraordinary snow conditions that were interfering with people's excursion and travel plans. I'd be happy to stay again and try out the local mountain, Venet, for a day or so's skiing.
Our room was clean and comfortable and had two balconies with great views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is in the village of Perjens which is near Landeck and the village was fun to walk around. The hotel had a patio in the back and he enjoyed having a drink there in the afternoon and meeting other guests. The included breakfast was very good. The room had no air conditioning but that was no problem for us in our mid-May stay. We just left the doors to the balconies open and room stayed very cool. Even with the doors open, there was no outside noise since Perjens is a small village. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
