"Great spot. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is a great place.$60 taxi to town and $50 taxi to the airport. The spa is beautiful. Restaurants were delish! I would not upgrade to VIP, as I saw no real benefit to it, except for the adult-only pool, and the views from the ocean suites were much nicer. "

"This villa is wonderful place. The view to the ocean is perfect and the open-air setting makes it surreal. The grounds are well kept and attractive. The villa was spotless, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The pool is clean and offers an unforgettable experience looking out to the sea. The access to the sea is definitely limited by the wind/waves. I made it in one time. The reef is very nice but use caution. We hope to return. "

"I spent a week at Jan Kok while on a birding holiday. The property is safe, quiet, and perfect for those looking for privacy and seclusion. This is a great choice for birders, as the property has lots of plants and resident birds, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the nearby salina, where flamingos and other waterbirds abound. A car is absolutely necessary, but there's a grocery store and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. The lodges are very clean and stocked with all the basic kitchen tools, but bring your own soap, shampoo, and coffee or tea. Highly recommended for independent travelers who want to avoid the noise and bustle of resorts."

"An incredible property with stellar views. The rooms are very comfortable, the house is full of art, the central garden is a unique and wonderful touch. The open feeling of this house is amazing. The pool is a good size, and there is plenty of seating in the living room, the kitchen, and on the pool deck. The electronics are a bit fussy to use, especially the Sonos. The Wifi was solid though. The resort down at the waterfront was chill, and the quality of the food was good. Without a doubt one of the best properties we've ever stayed at. "

"Brand new and modern-looking property. Incredible sunsets. Modern and well equipped kitchen, BBQ, plenty of space for 8 people in 4 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The 5th bedroom is on a lower level, and has no windows in the actual bedroom (but an adjacent mini-kitchen and sitting area instead).Unlike most villas in Curacao and even in Coral Reef resort, it's literally 5-7 minutes walk to the resort with beach, bars, restaurants, dive shop, spa etc.Loved it.
