It also had the peace and quiet of the countryside yet just within a 45 minute drive of all of these beautiful historic sites along scenic country roads. "The family were so lovely and welcoming. We got to meet the father who was so very interesting and shared many memories and stories of the Chateau and his family. Would recommend staying to all for a unique French Chateau experience. Also loved the five-course evening meal by the chef, truly unique."
