"Fabulous place to stay if you want something different. Large clean bedrooms & great breakfast. There was a wedding on when we arrived but they allowed us to stay & eat as nowhere else around had availability. Lovely to have the church next door & grounds to walk around. Highly recommend. Shop nearby for spirits & liqueurs that are made in the local distillery."

"Det er et dejligt sted oppe på bjerget over Bad Harzburg! Men ..... Man skal henvende sig i deres hotel nede i byen før kl 15.30, have udleveret nøgle og billetter, gå 300 meter, op med den gamle romantiske lift, gå om til hotellet 👍 Det giver lidt motion, og man skal nok have pakket lidt fornuftigt! Fantastisk udsigt, dejlige schnitzler 🤗"

"Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit."

"Liono was such a special place to stay. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was superb, with so many offerings! We love to walk, so the 15 minute walk to town was to our liking. Everything about Liono suited us and we would stay again if we are in the area!"

"At first I was a bit surprised at staying in the dark yellow painted, deep red curtained and darkwood themed Africa room (135) but it grew on me. The patio area was pretty dark though. Breakfast was great but no restaurant for an evening meal nor a bar which was a shame. On leaving I realised I left my almost nearly new (expensive) CK shower gel behind and despite getting in touch that afternoon both by email and phone I received this reply at 20.00 - unfortunately we throw hygiene products from...

"Meget stille by, lige bag Bob slæde bane mm. Skønne vandreture i området er muligt. Men wellness massage er ikke værd at kaste penge efter! Den dårligste massage - absolut ingen interesse fra personalet i sit arbejde. "

"Wellness: Wellness Bereich schön gestaltet. Pool sehr kalt. Frühstück: Zum Frühstück Aufbackbrötchen. Personal: teilweise Freundlichkeit des Empfangspersonals. Rechnung nach mehrmaliger Reklamation bisher immer noch nicht korrekt. Sauberkeit: Badezimmer verbesserungswürdig (Fliesen seitlich der Toilette braun beschmutzt), Balkontüren (Fettabdrücke von Vorgängern), Schranktüren (Fettabdrücke von Vorgängern) Fazit: Preis-Leistung im Hinblick auf Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals...
