"I am EXTREMELY fussy with the cleanliness of my surroundings and I was instantly impressed with the unit in this regard. It was also tastefully decorated, and very well stocked with the basic essentials, including cleaning products. I found the mattress gave me the support I needed to avoid back issues. Again, the cleanliness of the bedding and towels was outstanding. I did not have a vehicle, so I cannot comment on the driving and/ or parking. On occasion, there was some noise from above (squeaking floor boards/draining water), but not in the nighttime hours. People have to live, and as a solo traveler, I found it reassuring to know someone was close by.I would not hesitate to stay here again and/ or recommend it to future Lanford visitors."

"This one bedroom suite was absolutely perfect! From the well equipped kitchen to the roomy bedroom, bathroom and living room with a fantastic view of a beautiful backyard with Glen Lake in the background. The lake is just through the backyard and you’re at the park and the trail. We were only a 7 minute walk to our event at the Starlight Stadium. Any of our trips driving to explore/shop downtown and surrounding districts were never more then 20 mins away. We highly recommend this suite and will definitely return. Brian and Susan were excellent hosts."

"This property was spectacular. The lake setting, the house, the deck, the barge... all just made for a serene, beautiful, and relaxing girls trip. So quiet and both sunrise and sunset were amazing.Downtown Victoria was only a 15 minute drive away and we very much enjoyed our time there. "

"Very central for my needs to access Downtown Victoria in 20 min, Duncan in 30 min and Sooke in 25 min. The suite main windows look out to Tall Pine and Spruce trees right across the street with nature trails within the area of the trees that lead you an a nurturing exploration, as well as it being an amazing place to decompress when you come to the suite... in the suite and walk on the trails ."

"This property was the nicest and best thought-out VRBO rental that I have ever stayed in. The communication with the owners was exceptional and they went out of their way to help us out. The home was immaculate and well designed with very comfortable accommodations and homey touches. The kitchen was well stocked, as was the linen closet and bathroom accessories. The outdoor spaces were lovely and it truly felt like you were in your own little world when you were outside. It was close to stores to pick up necessities and the owners even have loyalty cards to help with some savings. I couldn't recommend this rental enough and would absolutely stay here again- and would even consider it for a long term rental. Thank you for a lovely stay in beautiful Victoria!"
