Old style exellent service!

We stayed in China 1. The house is large and old style both in design and content. If you are adventurous you will love it. If you like 100% clean and and Marble Hotels, this is not for you. This hotel is like going back in time living old style. The service is great, as is the concrete pool. Good for lap swimming if vacant :)

I don't want to bash it, I want it to inprove

first I loved the location, BUT None of the cabins had phones in them or the house. so you would have to walk over to the front desk (witch was in a cabin of its own) whenever you wanted something. That means walking in the rain some time or the dark using a flash light to get there The room came with no blankets and when I went to ask for some, I’ve told that they ran out of blankets. Later at night when the weather got too cold because the AC I was forced to go to the front desk witch meant leaving my cabin in the pouring rain and insisted that they provide me and my son with blankets. another unprofessional thing happen in the temple tree house, when I left the hotel I forgot by accident one of my son Medication in the fridge and a big jar of organic honey. I called the place less than 12 hours after I left to ask about it. I have been told that they through it in the trash. for Muslims, you will not find the bathroom equipped with (water flash or lota) Also To add on to the problem you can feel the shortage of staff. Every time I went to the front disc I found no one there and I had to search for him or her. keep in mind the front disc close at 11 p.m. In my opinion they depend to much on the location and greenery that they start to neglect their responsibilities. If you are looking for a camping place, the temple tree is what you are looking for.

前回の宿泊で気に入り、迷わず再訪。 ランカウイ滞在前半は別のホテルを利用し、後半は空港に近いこちらのホテルへ…。 朝食を自分の部屋で好きな時間に食べられるのが、朝の弱い自分には合ってます。 賑やかな町中から少々離れているので、落ち着いてくつろげるのも気に入ってます。 2回目ともなると地理的にも慣れ、歩くと遠いと思っていたナイトマーケットにも徒歩で往復できました。 途中でスーパーに寄って買い物もできます。暑さやわらぐ夜ならではですが。 相変わらず人懐こい猫ちゃんがいっぱい現れて癒されます♪ 猫好きな方にお勧めのホテルです！

2月末に2泊しました． 部屋はよく掃除されていますが，伝統建築物なのである程度の作りの甘さを許容する必要はあります． 併設のレストランはやや高級ですが，その分とても美味しいです． 朝食のパンとケーキも美味しいです．おかわりも可能とのことで大満足でした． プールは結構長さがあるので，本気で泳ぐことも可能です． あと猫が可愛いかったです．

猫がいっぱい！という情報に惹かれたのと、帰路の空港に近いこともあり、旅の締めくくりに連泊しました。 どの猫も人見知りすることなく懐いてくれ、滞在中は猫とのふれ合いをたくさん楽しむことができました。 虫の出没が心配でしたが、虫よけスプレーや殺虫剤やベープマットが完備されており、室内の虫対策はしっかりできました。 食事は隣接するナムレストランでディナーをいただきましたが、評判どおり雰囲気も味も最高でした。 朝食は室内で好きな時間にのんびり食べられるのが良かったです。 天気が良かった日中にプールサイドへ…とても静かでくつろげます。暑い日だったためスタッフの冷たいお水のサービスが嬉しかったです。 繁華街から離れていて良かったと思う点は、雲がなく澄み切っている夜は星がいっぱい見えて感動したことです。 他のホテルと趣が違って自然に落ち着けてしまえるのが気に入りました。またぜひリピートしたいと思います。

Great place in Langkawi for family stay

Beautiful hotel and location, great amenities, friendly staff but disappointed that none of the 20 Christmas cards left with reception for posting with cash for stamps did not arrive at their overseas destinations! Also, very poor wifi in room and woken one night by a bat flying around our bedroom. Even so, would still stay here again.

I admire what the owner has done with the place relocating these heritage homes from various places in Malaysia and acknowledge that these are old houses, however the rooms need to be pest proof. We had a rat in the room who woke us up around midnight on the first night and we asked to change rooms. There was no security guard on the property but the person on duty came when called on his duty phone. We were then put up in a bigger house which was also not pest-proofed as there were decorative openings which can be easily sealed by using perspex/acrylic/glass or a mesh.I met the owner and explained that guests need to feel secure and comfortable in order to have great memories of a family vacation specially when there are children and we are not locals. Also suggested that the property lights outside the houses should be kept on at night since it was pitch dark when we moved houses specially since the path is uneven. Energy savings can be achieved by sealing openings as far as possible (whilst retaining the asthetics) so that the use of AC can be optimized and by using LED lights instead of spotlights. The owner gave us a refund for the first night. Besides the above incident, it was a nice place to chill and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel is well set up. We loved the staff hospitality and genuineness. The theme of the place was also interesting. We thought of highlighting few things that visitors should be aware of, from expectations from the place: The breakfast was sent a day earlier for next day. We have to make our own toast, can't have freshly brewed coffee or fresh omlette. It was disappointing after spending decent money. Have a mini restaurant for serving guests WIFI was patchy. We had to rely on our mobile network Rest was all good.

Location is good and good service,this place is really special,with traditional house but only had bugs sometimes,you can also explain to nature life.All are fine,love the resort.

レセプションやレストランなど、スタッフは皆親切でフレンドリー。敷地内には猫がいっぱいいますが、彼らもとてもフレンドリーで敷地内を散歩していると付いてきます。たまに上空を通る飛行機以外には人工的な音が無く、ゆったりとした時間を過ごせました。朝食は前日に部屋の冷蔵庫に用意され、朝は自分達のペースでゆっくりと。パン、ジュース、ヨーグルトなどシンプルですが、どれも美味しく、特に自家製のデザートはとても美味しかったです。レストランは隣のボントンも含めて、とても美味しく、レストランのために泊まっても良いくらいと思いました。古い建物をペナンから移設しているので、管理は行き届いているものの、さすがに古さは否めないです。いわゆるリゾートホテルとは一線を画しており、綺麗さやラグジュアリー感を求める人には向かないかもしれませんが、古い建物の雰囲気の中で特別な時間を満喫したい人にはおすすめです。

Me and my sister stayed in Plantation 4 for 3 nights. If you are considering booking this hotel, do not hesitate! It isn’t such a different and unique experience compared to the same sterile hotels you stay in usually. It has so much character and you are literally staying in a museum. The beds were comfy, rooms clean and had such beautiful decor leaving the original features in place. We stayed in a Chinese Malay house which wasn’t stunning. Every evening you get given your breakfast for the next morning so you can enjoy a peaceful and private breakfast. You are provided with bread, yoghurt, fruit, jam, coffee, tea, bread and also a cake (which changes every day) We ate on the restaurant on the final evening and the food was delicious! The resort also has a dog and cat rescue centre and we took a couple of the dogs for a walk. There are three swimming pools which are great. The one at Bon Ton Is the best and you get complimentary iced water served by a lovely man. Overall this place is amazing and I will definite return!

Nice experience but wouldn’t recommend it

Too many cats, dogs and insects around. Constanting meowing and barking at night distrupted our sleep during our stay almost every night.

Comfy place

There is a huge bath tub but the water was not hot enought. Except that, the room was so pretty and the staff were friendly. Would highly recommemd this hotel.

Stay at Temple Tree Bon Ton

Very different experience feom the regular hotels. Good for a kampong type experience. Dowsides: no access to TV, WiFi (though it was advertised as being available). Not able to open windows in the room because of insects and animals coming into the room.
