"This hostel is family-friendly and it felt safe as a solo female traveller. There is a continental breakfast that is free. The staff was responsive to questions and multilingual if you are traveling internationally. The only downside is that parking is sparse since it is in the city's center. Other than that, it's a fantastic base since one can walk to restaurants/bars, shops, historical sites, and supermarkets."

"The Adventure Hostel is a short walk from the Interlaken West station, had super friendly staff, a decent breakfast, and very solid accommodations. By far one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in, with quality easily comparable to (and in some ways surpassing) 3-star hotels. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and I definitely recommend the Fondue Villa for great views and fondue!"

"This hostel has a beautiful view and is right on the lake. But the WiFi situation is terrible! No WiFi in the rooms and poor signal in the common area. The property is also right next to the train tracks, and the train goes by often and way into the night. "Very nice accommodations. It is a little outside the city of Bern but friendly helpful staff. Clean modern hotel. Washer and dryers for a fee but good to have option to wash clothes. If you are traveling through Switzerland I recommend having a small fan in your luggage as most hotels don’t have air and a fan would come in handy in rooms. Loved the hotel and Bern!"

Very comfortable and convenient place to stay
"Extremely satisfied with our stay at the Savoy. The staff are very responsive to customer needs. We let them know when booking the room that one of us has mobility issues and they gave us a room with special accommodations for that. The room was very spacious. The light coloured furniture, walls, carpeting and the large window keep the room looking bright. The hotel is very close to the Neuengasse entrance/exit from the SBB train station. This made it very convenient for us to explore other Swiss cities and get to Zurich airport by rail. Bern’s key tourist attractions are all within walking distance if the hotel. There is an abundance of shopping and dining establishments in the area. We would definitely stay at the Savoy again. "
