The New England Hotel

"This is a budget hotel. My room was only £35 so my expectations were not very high and I was prepared to put up with whatever. But in many ways I was pleasantly surprised. They had a secure place to keep my bicycle overnight which is very important to me. The room was clean and prepared with fresh towels etc. The only two reasons I didn't give 5 stars is that there was no hot water. As the reception was only staffed for a few hours I found out too late to ask anyone for help. My second point is that a five a clock check in time is really a bit late. But then I knew that when I booked."

"The Red Lion was a real surprise. The accommodation was a separate block in the car park. The rooms were excellent with a spacious sleeping area and a good size toilet with shower cubicle. The pub had lovely food and a good selection of beers etc. The owner and staff really make you feel welcome. We will definitely come back to stay here."

"I liked this hotel in every way but the most outstanding thing was the view from the diningroom of a really lovely garden with mature trees, shrubs etc. As the whole of the wall was glass, the view was probably the most spectacular I'd ever seen from a hotel dining room."

Boston West Hotel

"Had a really spacious and comfortable room. Couldn't fault it for the money, great value. Are dinner at the restaurant and it was good too. Easy check in and out with friendly staff."

The Quayside Hotel and Bar

"A very clean hotel the staff were extremely helpful, friendly couldn’t do enough for you. The continental breakfast was ample with plenty of choice. The food was also very good for evening meal. The front rooms could be noisy due to traffic. The hotel bar and restaurant is closed on Sunday night."

"Room was clean. Probably dated for some people but I was happy..staff absolutely fantastic. Really friendly, very helpful nothing too much trouble.Go above and beyond. Great breakfast by stand in chef who allowed full time one a day off by covering his shift. Town centre 5 min walk ."
