"Luke was awesome. He was incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was sorted. Even on a public holiday morning, he went above and beyond to help, which really says a lot about the level of service here. The whole team was friendly and easy to deal with, check-in was smooth, and the place was very clean and well maintained. The location is great too, right next to the beach. A big thanks to Luke and the team for making our stay so enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The rooms were really nice, the bathroom was nice and big. We were there on King’s Birthday, there were no staff for check in, but it was pretty straightforward to check in without them. We requested a late check out as we have a very young baby, and they accommodated us very well and also provided a cot for us for our stay. The only thing was our keys stoped working at normal checkout time, so it was lucky I was still in the room at this time. The tavern across from the lodge was very close and the area is beautiful. Would like to stay again!"

"The good things first, this was nice and clean, bathroom was really clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Now the rest…I was a little bit worried that it might collapse on top of us with massive cracks in one wall and across the ceiling. I would think they would have checked to ensure it’s structurally sound, but visually it was a worry. I doubt all of the rooms are like that, but we stayed in room 7 and it had that problem. There were no staff there. We arrived at 4pm and were sent a code to access the secure box for our key, so I don’t know what you do if there are problems, it’s self check in and out all day. The other thing was it was really noisy, it’s on the main road, but most of the noise we heard was from the room above us, and they weren’t noisy, just walking around the room. The motel did provide earplugs though, so they must know it’s an issue and have made a genuine effort to mitigate the problem. Would I stay there again? Yes…as I said it was clean and comfortable which are the two things that matter to me on an overnight stay, if I was staying longer than one night, I’d probably choose somewhere else."
