LOW JUNE RATES! MountainTop Meadows - 2BR/1BA Hot Tub & Mtn Views

Have you ever dreamed of staying in an authentic log cabin with mountain and pastoral views that you can take in from a bubbling hot tub? Then Mountaintop Meadows is the cabin for you!

This cabin is in a secluded setting on twenty-nine acres just minutes from the banks of the New River. There are numerous hiking areas to explore, and the towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson are just minutes away. The drive to the cabin itself will have your imagination running wild: you’ll wind through meadows on a gravel road arriving at the cabin perched on the mountainside with breathtaking views. For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.

Inside, you will find a cozy living area featuring a large flatscreen smart TV, a wood burning stove, and two leather chairs along with a comfy couch for relaxing. The couch makes a sleeper sofa for two if additional space is needed. The kitchen is well-equipped including a Keurig coffee maker, cookware, and dishware so you can prepare a quick snack or family meal. Just off the kitchen is the spacious dining area that offers plenty of seating and an amazing view of the mountains to enjoy as you gather around the table for a meal.

Also on the main level is the primary bedroom with a comfortable king bed, flat screen smart TV and access to the shared bathroom. There is also a laundry room complete with washer and dryer.

Climb the stairs to the second level and you will find another bedroom with two twin beds for guests or the family.

Step out the front door and you will discover a cozy covered porch with rocking chairs for taking in the views. You’ll love sitting back and enjoying the sounds of nature all around you! The side porch offers a gas grill for your grilling pleasure.

Explore the surrounding land or plan a day trip to bike, fish, canoe, or hike but you will love coming back to this cabin to relax and stargaze at night.

NOTE: Gravel driveway to cabin with incline may need FWD, ALL Wheel, or 4WD. During the winter months, four-wheel drive is required.

The Perfect Mountaintop Cabin
This rental is the perfect, secludeded mountaintop cabin conventiently located near prime hiking areas. It is within 45min of both Grayson Highlands State Park and the Boone/ Blowing Rock area. The cabin and deck (with spacious hot tub) face west and gave us a perfect view of the sunsets every evening. We saw plenty of local wildlife right on the property including deer, turkey, and heard some coyotes our last night there. This cabin has a rustic feel with a conventient location, cell service, and stellar mountaintop views!

The pictures do not do it Justice!!!!
Absolutely stunning!!!! We absolutely loved this secluded slice of NC mountain heaven!!!!! Notes: 4 wheel drive is a must. The dirt path going up is pretty steep in places. If it’s wet or snowy, 4wheel drive is a must. Also, as a real estate photographer, the pictures do not do this place justice. The small touches of making this a true log cabin are incredible. Sunset behind the mountains just make this place incredible!!!!!! Highly recommended for an escape! No neighbors for miles! We went to Grayson Highlands State park (VA) to see the wild ponies. Only a 20min drive from the house. So worth it!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic Stay in the NC Mountains
This property is as advertised. In fact, we feel the property was better than expected. All of the warm comfort of a mountain cabin with nice livability features. Mini split units kept the rooms warm while the wood stove was dormant. A sizable hot tub that worked wonderfully despite temps in the low teens. My hair has never "frozen" on my head before. And yet the tub was warm and inviting after hiking in the cold and wind up in Grayson Highlands all day. Great proximity to the beautiful town and conveniences of West Jackson and as mentioned close to outdoor activities at Grayson Highlands State Park. We loved the stay, we loved the quiet dark nights, we loved the dry warmth of the wood stove, we loved the convenience of finding everything we needed in the kitchen including a croc pot. Great spot. Highly recommend if you enjoy a rural stay and dont mind being a little remote and working a little harder than just your average rental stay. Fantastic view from the front porch and comfortable bedding too!
