"What an amazing place to stay!! I was looking for a hotel near the waterfront before we went on a cruise. The staff was so welcoming, the hotel had such a lovely old world charm to it. We try to avoid stayiing in chains when we travel, this was a gem! We were able to walk to different areas of the city, felt like we were staying in a local neighborhood, not in a tourist area. We had many choices for restaurants in the area, had a great meal looking out at the river at Le Chat, fabulous...

"This looks to be a newly renovated apartment. However be advised like everything in Portugal, the apartment is located at the top of a very steep narrow road which our cabbie refused to drive up...leaving us to haul our luggage up a very steep, what seemed to be a never ending journey...only to find a narrow staircase to be transversedone to the top floor. The apartment is incredible though."
