"I found Cabin in the Woods (aka Fish Tales Inn) from reading comments on Facebook regarding the Falls Trail at Ricketts Glen State Park…absolutely perfect location if you are looking to do the same…and the 21waterfalls are beautiful!!! There is a huge fire ring for making campfires to stay warm at night, make mountain pies, smores, etc. Two grocery stores are nearby (Country Fresh Market and Mountain Fresh Supermarket) if looking to buy your groceries there. However, Country Fresh Market does not sell corned beef at the deli, except around St. Patrick’s day, if wanting to make rueben mountain pies…may want to plan ahead for that. Highly recommend and we are actually talking about a return trip maybe for next year. Jessica was very responsive with any changes and questions we had as well."

"We saw 1 porcupine, 2 doe and 1 set of bear tracks but no bear.We caught 5 Rainbow Trout.The weather was uncooperative, cold and windy for last 2 days."

"Perfect little cottage in an ideal location close to the lake. Host was quick to respond to any issues. Our dogs loved to lounge in the sunroom while we were out during the day. "
