Zwembad is niet groot maar lekker om in af te koelen of in te ravotten met kinderen. De omgeving is rustig maar heeft ook zeker bezienswaardigheden. Vlakbij is een zwemmeer, er zijn oude dorpjes en iets verder weg ligt Riaño aan een groot stuwmeer. De weg er naartoe is heel mooi."

"Pros: Sitio excelente. Nosotros estuvimos en la casa del jacuzzi y no tuvimos queja. La cocina tiene de todo (tostador, exprimidor manual, batidora, sartenes, ollas, paños de cocina, fairy..). El acceso al pueblo es una pendiente bastante empinada, y el aparcamiento compartido con la otra casa para dos coches un poco justo, pero igual se puede aparcar un poco más arriba. Regina fue muy amable y nos proporcionó información sobre qué ver en los alrededores."

"This mountain house was positively delightful. While it was in a pretty remote location, the views were breathtaking. It's located in a quaint tiny village on the Cares trail -- definitely bring provisions with you as the kitchen is perfect for cooking meals (and the food is so good in this area it's hard to make a bad meal). "The location within a sanctuary is extraordinary BUT the 2 bar/ restaurants close about 6 and there’s only the hotel bar/restaurant. So if you want a bit of an evening out you must drive. Also, you can park very early or late but literally thousands of people come during the day so returning to the hotel with a car is impossible. We visited in August, so may be different other times of the year. Hotel is beautiful and the sanctuary with the Basilica and grotto very atmospheric- We wouldn’t stay there again."

"It’s a really unusual and unique place with stunning views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has lovely food. We had a lovely suite with a large window seat. The drive up is quite difficult as we had a larger vehicle. It would be good to advise guests of this in advance and/or provide an option at the bottom of the village lanes for parking. All in all we had a very memorable stay."

My stay was on a Monday, the hotel rest day - check-in staff very helpful, but thereafter you are on your own. In contrast for normal full service days there is a welcoming bar/cafeteria and restaurant facilities."

"The host was fantastic and really helped us out and went out of his way to help after we accidentally locked ourselves out. Beautiful scenery all around and we found some stunning walks. The house was very clean. Just a note if you are bringing dogs, there is a dog close by who guards the cows and our dogs were frightened by the barking. I think some information leaflets on local walks/attractions would have been helpful. We did have a nice stay and the jacuzzi was lovely."
