Nice room in good location

Very nice room in a good location. Old style wooden building is pleasant to stay in. Clean and quiet. Only concern is lack of breakfast options - the bakery about 200m away was recommended by the guesthouse but while being a good bakery it does not really do breakfast. A better option would be to go the Quality Hotel nearby and pay 195NOK for their excellent buffet breakfast

Unique place. Like staying in a museum, especially if the owner has time to show you the whole property, where you can find museum pieces ranging from Viking swords to 1600s paintings to Japanese ceramics. Centrally located, within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Bidt af ejernes hund i receptionen!

Efter at have prøvet to forkerte døre i bygningen endte vi i privaten/receptionen, hvor min mand blev bidt i benet af ejernes galsindende hund! Ejeren spurgte bare “om vi ikke havde set skiltet med, at vi skulle passe på hunden”!! Nej, det havde vi så ikke, men man burde måske skrive, at hunden bider, og man skal bruge ringeklokken og vente…. Hvordan kan man drive “hotel” og have en hund, der bider kunderne!? Parkeringen var på havnen og ikke på hotellets grund, hvilket ikke var optimalt, når man er lidt øm over sin bil. Værelset var mørkt og larmen fra et nærliggende koncertsted gjorde, at vi ikke fik en ordentlig nats søvn. Absolut det værste sted vi har overnattet i Norge, hvor vi ellers er vant til et højt niveau og megen imødekommenhed efter flere års forretnings- og ferierejser!

Vakkert og sentralt

Vi bodde fire venner en natt på denne gjestegården. Svært hyggelig rom, noe smale senger. Flott bad, koselig kjøkken og uteplass hvor vi kunne sitte i solen og hygge oss på ettermiddagen. Svært sentral beliggenhet, kun tysktalende personale - men det gikk helt fint. Fint med kjøleskap og utstyr til å lage kaffe etc om morgenen.

Fantastisk ophold

Fantastisk ophold. En tidslomme, hvor det føles som at gå tilbage i tiden. God personlig service ved check-in. Han sikrede sig, at vi kom godt ind på værelset og at lyset virkede, for det var mørkt da vi ankom.

Fantastisk sted

Dette er virkelig et fantastisk «må oppleve» sted. Rommene er unike og i ulike stiler. Interiøret er antikviteter og svært smakfullt innredet. Badene er moderne og har god komfort. Sjekk hjemmesiden deres for ytterlige bilder! Anbefales på det sterkeste.

Rart sted..

Vertskapet gjorde sikkert sitt beste for oss.. bare så trist at det likevel er endel som skal til for at vi kan gi no bedre skår.. trenger mer grundig vask, brødsmuler i sofa, maur inne i hopetall (300 år gammelt bygg så kanskje ik annet å forvente), fikk riktignok noen nye håndklær etter to døgn (vi var i 3 netter). Ingen vask innimellom men samme pris som andre som bare var i 1 natt.. mørkt og fuktig følelse.. delt uteplass med alle, også vertskap.. litt mye uprivat.. flott beliggenhet da! Rullegardin ramla ned første natta, de fikset riktignok det, men fikk litt følelsen av at det var vår feil..bratt trapp for å komme på do på natte, var ik klar over det mtp at vi må opp flere ganger om natta begge to. God litt hard seng men ikke stor, ingen oppredning etter vi kom til vi dro. Hyggelige folk men litt ukomfortabelt og på en måte ikke komme fra… fikk ok på sein innsjekk - vi kom 0300 ca fra dk, det var bra!

Rommet var rent, og hadde et nyoppusset bad. Det var flere sittemuligheter, men ingen "god stol". Interiøret var "eldre" fine møbler, men mest til utstilling. For overfylt av gamle ting etter min smak.
