"We stayed in this unit for two nights. When we checked in, the room smelled very musty, there was one washcloth for two people, one of the lamps was found to be broken, and the pillows smelled bad to the point where we could not use them. I sent a message to the hostess, she said that she would send somebody over with wash cloths and new pillows, but they never came. I texted her again to tell her that we haven’t received them, she said she thought the cleaning crew would leave them, but that she would get them over to us. Nevertheless, they did not arrive. The second morning we woke up and there was condensation on the ceiling, and it was dripping onto the bed. We followed all the instructions about leaving doors and windows closed. And ran the air conditioners for our stay, so I’m not sure what’s wrong with the ventilation in the room, but when the ceiling is dripping on you, and there is other evidence of water damage, that’s a problem that needs to be addressed. The pool was nice and the unit was cute, but in this condition isn’t even habitable."

"Our host, JB was the BEST from day 1 thru our stay and check out!! He was available to answer every question, within a minute of asking!The house was squeaky clean… pristine from top to bottom! The kitchen was fully equipped… has everything you need! We were able to be at home, immediately!"

"As others have noted, the location of this place is perfect. Hard to imagine a better place to stay when exploring the northeastern tip of Puerto Rico. Its garage is a gift - although it won't accommodate a large vehicle. Our rented Chevy Malibu fit perfectly. Right next door is one of the best breakfast/brunch places I've visited. Reservations are recommended. And there are other great restaurants within easy walking distance down either side of the hill this place is perched on.We had a communication snafu on our arrival - we were supposed to have received directions for entering the unit the day of our arrival but they failed to come. The owner was quick to rectify this, but spotty cell service as we were driving from San Juan to Las Croabas complicated things. It worked out in the end. There had also been a mistake about preparing it for our arrival. It hadn't been cleaned after the last visitor, but again the owner immediately offered to have his cleaner fix the situation. Based on the comments of others I think that was a rare mistake.We had a wonderful time and I certainly would stay here again if I return to this part of Puerto Rico."

"The condo was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It’s in a great location, close to food and a park, though you’ll definitely need a car to get around.The balcony and view were absolutely stunning, easily the highlight of the stay.There were a few inconveniences. The key situation was a bit frustrating, as you need separate keys for the door, elevator, and pool, and only one set is provided, which can be tough when staying with a group. The sliding glass doors were also very difficult to open and close, and the TV screen was blurry and not in great condition.Overall, a nice place with a beautiful view, just a few things that could be improved.Host was responsive to messages concerning the check in process. "Our group of 8 people (4 adults and 4 teenagers) had a great stay at Casa Blue Laguna! The house has plenty of space for everyone, with really nice indoor and outdoor space for relaxing. The pool table got a lot of use, as did the upper deck - a light breeze kept the bugs away and the space cool for nice lounging in the afternoon and evenings. There are several board games and lots of beach items available at the house, including a rolling cooler and beach chairs. The beds were very comfortable, and the host provides very nice toiletries - a pleasant surprise. There are 7 good restaurants and a well stocked mini-mart within an easy 5-10 minutes walking distance, and the fabulous Estacion is a short 5 minute drive away. El Yunque and Luquillo Beach/Kiosks are an easy 20-25 minutes away, and the main part of Fajardo just 10 minutes if you need grocery stores/Walmart or more restaurant options. We really enjoyed being close to everything but outside of the more developed Fajardo area. The gated access was easy with 2 remote fobs, so no one needs to hop out of the car to punch in a code. The kitchen is well stocked with many small appliances and nice plates/cutlery, and had the added surprise of coffee and tea, pancake mixes and cereals included. The kids enjoyed making mini waffles and using the cereal dispenser for breakfast! We would definitely stay at Casa Blue Laguna again"
