"Sugiero que se este más al pendiente de las reservaciones en línea para que la espera en el check-in sea menos; la verdad es que no me agrado mucho que a nuestra llegada la habitación no estuviera lista y que por ello nos hayan dado otra habitación, entiendo que hayan tenido contratiempos pero creo que fueron bastantes en nuestra estancia, ya que también tuvimos escases de agua por no decir nula. Aun así las instalaciones son buenas y cómodas."

"This resort is so well run, and it is reflected in every department. The staff at each step from the front door, to the gym, to the pool areas, the dining facilities, and housekeeping are all attentive, friendly, and service oriented. Food was consistently well prepared and served. The reservation dining areas offer some interesting and flavorful food options. Pool and private beach are fantastic. We enjoyed a restful and pleasant week at the Barcelo Karmina in Manzanillo. Thank you to all of the wonderful locals who work here."

"The pictures made this place look like a paradise. When we arrived a decided to upgrade the stay to include all inclusive. Big mistake the drinks were weak and the food lacked flavor and was over cooked, dry , hard and so on. The room smelled of mildew Iit was coming from the air conditioner and the light over the sinks had several dead bugs visibly in them. I have stayed at all inclusive hotels and this one was a waste of my hard earned money."

"The person from the front desk was very rude and feels like the owner from the hotel, no want to give me another towel for my hair claiming that was one towel per person even though I stay in a bedroom for 4. Then when check in she didn’t gave us the keys activated and make us to go to the line like just new clients. "

Incredible Ocean Front Condo with Amazing Views at Condomios Playasol Las Hadas

"Michael is an excellent host. Most detailed pre-approval package of intel for the condo and area. The view is stunning; could not be in a more gorgeous place. We 100% enjoyed our stay. The condo is exactly as listed and for the 2 of us was super comfortable. The king size bed is great, patio large with loungers which is a huge bonus. We did rent a car (tip; if you book online before getting to airport you get 50% off with Thrifty's. We booked after arrival so had to go back to airport to pick up but got 13 days rental for 320 CAD included 3rd party liability ..our credit card had the rest of insurance covered). We highly recommend renting a car or you will pay a lot for taxis in and out of the peninsula or if you want to go to Barra for the day etc. The marina is lovely with some nice places to dine and hang out. The listing does reference the amount of stairs...it is all true LOL but what a great workout and as stated just take your time and go slow and it's very doable. The condo is very well stocked with dishes, spices, oil, vinegar, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo etc. We lucked out with last guests leaving us a few condiments. We have left behind 3 ice cube trays (large cubes) and a couple large shopping bags for grocery shopping. La Comer is the best grocery store, not walmart or Soriana. Love having laundry (washer dryer in one) and Michael supplies laundry soap which is added bonus. The pool also lovely. Book it, it's a WIN!!!"
