"Limited dining to only whatever dish they are serving and the times they serve. No options. No hot water in the cabins for shower. They tried to put us in a group to do all the same excursions as a group. We opted out of the excursions, which all cost extra. Wanted to relax by the pool but cool weather settled in for a few days. "True jungle experience. Brought in on long covered top boat, must walk on mud steps to get from boat to real steps. Cabins are rustic with screen windows. Bed covered in mosquito netting. Cold showers. Power on 6-9 pm, which was fine bc you go to sleep early. Meals were quite good. Our guide, Marcello, provided by the lodge, was excellent. He saw a myriad of bugs and animals we never would have spotted. Marcello very knowledgeable, made our trip. He took us out on a boat for piranha fishing and...

Hotels.con has not refunded my credit card yet. Based on this experience, I don’t expect to use or recommend Hotels.com ever again unless you can promptly remedy this very concerning experience with your service. "

"Kenny is the owner and he was super helpful with coordinating our day trips and getting us boat rides to the city. The room with the private bathroom was worth it. Not many bugs got inside the room so that was great! Food was average but all included. No a/c but fans by the bed! Overall great stay "

"We weren’t exactly sure what to expect, but our stay was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. All of the staff was amazing; restaurant staff, particularly Leslie and Renzo, were very friendly and attentive, our guide Yuri was very knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. The excursions included with your stay are well organized and very worthwhile. We would definitely recommend IKAM and hope to return. "

"A small seven unit property and we were the only ones there on the first night. I don’t know if it was the end of the season, but we had a limited hours of electricity, Wi-Fi, and schedule of meals. Dinner was at 8 PM and we were pretty hungry by then. It was hot in the late morning, and there was no electricity to turn on the fan. The buildings are outdated, and some need of repairs . The staff was friendly. By B"
