"Excellent location. Loved the large balcony and proximity to beach, restaurants and shopping. Property manager was a little to reach. But we loved the place. "
"Nice stay. Big apartments. Fine facilities. Bed was a bit used and hard, so we used the sofas instead. The area is an area were most of the turist hotels are concentrated. We stayed 4 nights. "

"Die Finca ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Absolute Stille- nur das Rausche der Bananenblätter ist zu hören. Die Möbel sind etas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber alles ist sauber und wird sofort ersetzt, falls kaputt. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist wundervoll- der Sternenhimmel nachts autemberaubens "

"Pros: Great restaurants and bars and beach just 20 minutes walk. Definitely the sunniest part of the island. Numerous great walks just 20 minutes drive. loved the sound of the sea and birds. Beautiful sunsets. Friendly and good communication. Great hosts. Thank you Monica. First time in La Palma and love the island. There's so much beauty to explore. Even in February there's loads of flowers and blossoms and butterflies."
"Probably the best equipped apartment I have ever stayed in - whatever you can imagine, it is there. Very friendly and easy communication with the landlord."
"Alles war grundsätzlich sehr sauber, leider lassen sich in der Lage Kakerlaken dennoch nicht verhindern. Es gibt ausser der Haustür keine Lüftungsmögl7chkeit Ansonsten alles vorhanden was man benötigt ! "

"We stayed 15 nights in a Junior Suite. The room was wonderful, large bedroom and en-suite, clean, air conditioned with very original Spanish design and art works. In fact the whole hotel was full of antiques as the house and now hotel has been in the same family for centuries.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful, of high quality. We didn’t dine, but there is a full restaurant for those who wish. Locally within a 3-5 min walk there are plenty of bars / eating places at reasonable prices. These are very Spanish, full of locals and not a tourist trap.
The pool was a reasonable size and never crowded, the gardens are second to none and the whole hotel, being an ex plantation is set around banana plant fields. It is very secluded.
The staff are second to none, we have had good service over the years and this is up there among the best. They just did it naturally it did’t feel forced in any way and as such made the stay more like stopping at a friends than a hotel.
LaPalma in general is very rural; it is not Tenerife and a hire car is pretty essential to get around. We got the impression that the hotel, whilst being in the opposite side to the capital, is on the sunny side. It’s a small island so getting anywhere is no more than about a half hour drive.
I suppose the bottom line is, would we recommend the hotel to others: most certainly."
Unique living feeling - sun, peace and quiet, ideal for relaxing & hiking, WLAN

"This place would get our very highest rating—if it weren’t so remote and far away from restaurants, hiking trails, etc. Too much driving! The house is charming and quirky. Grit, our hostess, was just lovely, helpful and hospitable. The place is sparkling clean, and well supplied with everything we needed. Many thoughtful touches. There are several changes of level both inside and outside, so it helps to be nimble. Two very nice outdoor areas for spending time, one with a great view overlooking the ravine and with the ocean in the distance. It’s quiet, with nice birdsong. The house is difficult to find without a WiFi connection/phone. Grit’s written directions work fine right up to the last bit, but finding the house itself is challenging. Here’s your clue: Grit’s driveway is just opposite house number 30. Drive a short way up the asphalt drive and you’ll see Grit’s house on the right, the rental a little further on."
"The apartments are very clean. Hotel restaurants are very nice. The bathroom need a little maintenance and modernization. There was a storm brewing and the hotel just left a flyer stating stay indoors a little more information would have been beneficial. "
"Enjoyed our 3 night stay. Modern, clean comfortable room with fantastic views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good generally but grilled meats were chewy. Ample parking at the hotel but for a fee (10 euros/day). However, parking can be found along the road approaching the hotel. Area surrounding the hotel was quiet with few dining options."
"The gardens in which the hotel is built are beyond comparison, a real oasis. The pool is very attractive, with plenty of sunbed area around it. The beach, the local restaurants, the little shops and the bus stop are all very close, and there is a good walking route to the town of Santa Cruz avoiding the main road (50 mins)."
"Beautiful location, and spacious living area. Easy to reach and get to other parts of the island by local bus. Peaceful sanctuary with unbeatable ocean views 😎"
