"We had a great time at the VTG Lodge. The four grandkids loved exploring on the property, fishing, playing on the playground eq. and the great game room. The kitchen was fully stocked and large dining area was comfortable and clean. The big wraparound porch was perfect for sitting outside in the gliders. The Lodge is off the the highway enough to be very quite and private. There is a big charcoal bbq/grill that is perfect for outdoor cooking. The owners were great and answered any questions we had within minutes."

"the amenities and over all feel of the property are very welcoming. getting up with the sun and sitting on the porch you will hear at least a dozen different species of birds (maybe not a dozen but a lot) very peacefulthe host is easy to communicate with and is very accommodatingif you want quiet solitude in the country and not too far from the luxuries of a town (restaurants, shopping, etc) you owe it to yourself to stay here. my wife and i were the only ones here but it would be great for a family getaway. even though i don’t currently have a dog (dang it) it is a dog friendly place. "

"Check in was great, room clean and comfortable, bathroom had a plug in the bathtub (one of my pet peeves...), there was plenty of hot water, breakfast was good and the place was quiet."

"We loved this house. Four very spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and linens. Three baths with plenty of towels and other necessities . Kitchen was well stocked. Nice washer and dryer. We didn’t use the patio furniture, but it was nice and plentiful. The pond in the back, along with the blooming spring flowers were a real treat. "
