"French Theory was exactly what I wanted: just enough space for me and my suitcase, a private bathroom, and walking distance from lots of sightseeing spots. Easily accessible by Metro/bus as well. Room was clean and cozy with a functional air conditioning system (a must in spring/summer). Less than a block from L’Ptit Grec creperie, where you can get the best crepes in town. I had only two complaints: 1) the shower leaks significantly across the bathroom floor. I had to mop it with a towel and ring it out several times. If you roll up one of the big towels and keep it at the base of the shower door it helps a lot. (Photo included) 2) toward the end of our stay, the building next door began construction. This isn’t French Theory’s fault, but the noise was aggressive from about 8am on. Besides that, it was perfect for our stay in Paris. Bonus points for the cafe operating 24/7, too!"
