"Very cute and rural. 20 mins from Selfoss but little light pollution in the area. We saw the northern lights from the hot tub! but they were easier to see when we took a drive. Very convenient to a lot of golden circle stops and great that it had a restaurant because there aren't many super close. Did not have ice or free coffee and there was no breakfast available. Kitchen was nice to have for sure. There was no oil or anything though. Hot tubs and shower were very hot! Cabin was also cozy. You cannot control the temperature. "

"Beautiful room, spacious & enjoyed having a patio. The food was excellent for diner. Breakfast was good. I was able to watch the Aurora Borealis, as I soaked in the hot tub!"

There was careful attention and accommodation for our two gluten free family members within the restaurant. The gf rolls were outstanding! Appreciated that the front desk staff knocked on our door to let us know when the northern lights were visible."

"One of our favorite stays in Iceland! The main house has great dining options (dinner and breakfast) as well as a very friendly and accommodating staff. Walking around the property and petting some of the horses completed the experience. The guest houses were beautiful, clean, and secluded from the daily hustle. Highly recommended lodging in Iceland."
