"A wonderful stay just east of Selfoss. Terrific owners, a great breakfast, and a lounge to relax in at night. They even turned off the lights outside overnight so we could get a chance to see the northern lights."

"We had a fabulously memorable overnight stay in one of the bubbles. We stayed during a 50+mph storm and blizzard so had some reservations about it before we arrived, but we received a very warm welcome from Matt who put us at ease. Sheltered by trees, it was rock solid and toasty warm. Warm air is pumped inside all night and there is an electric blanket on the bed and very warm down duvets. Despite it being -4°C outside we didn’t need the electric blanket. The shower and toilet blocks were spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Matt for a great stay 😊"

"The hotel as such is great. The restaurant is definitely overpriced but there's no alternative close by. We were stuck in a blizzard. They could have been more welcoming, i.e., don't take the breakfast buffet away at 9:59, etc."

"Disappointed that all the facilities were closed and inaccessible even to sit and talk. You had to walk over to the big hotel for breakfast and dinner or for a drink. It would s a very short walk but in freezing rain not so nice."

"Good value for money, close to key attractions within the Golden Circle (around half an hour drive), nice staff, great breakfast. Stayed in the superior room - clean, spacious and comfortable overall. Good soundproofing too. There's also a cozy common area and outdoor hot tub at our building. There's EV charging (non-fast charging) available near the reception/ restaurant building, at a fee."
