"As two families with 5 young children between us we wanted somewhere with things to do on site for them. We booked this property as we thought it would be a great place to stay for our children. It is described as a luxury holiday cottage, it is definitely not! We arrived after midnight (having informed the owner we would be arriving late) to unmade beds which we then had to make up for the 9 of us. There were cobwebs, insects and flies everywhere. You can't lock the house. The next day...

"Petite maison de caractère (un ancien four) bien rénovée et très bien aménagée dans une campagne calme. Aux abord de Revel, belle ville très animée avec son marché des producteurs le mercredi soir et son superbe marché sous les Halles du samedi. Toulouse, Albi, le Lac de St Féréol.... Les propriétaires sont très gentils et au petits soins pour leurs hôtes."

"Just wanted somewhere we could use as a base to explore local villages and Carcassonne. We immediately felt very welcome and comfortable. Danielle was a very helpful host when we needed anything yet we were left to enjoy the tranquility of the outside areas when we were relaxing. The village had a superb art exhibition that we never dreamed would be possible in a relatively isolated locality. The local cafe, supermarket, bakers and restaurant were all withing walking distance and of good...

"Bon accueil du propriétaire ,Gite pour 6 spacieux, bonne literie mais vieillissant et peu entretenu . Pas de machine à laver, aucune chaine de télévision en français, Piscine non chauffée (21 à 24°en septembre) Paiement obligatoire en livres sterling ce qui a occasionné des frais bancaires. Présence d'animaux , chiens poules et chats."

"Very peaceful property, stylishly decorated and with a lovely large garden with many seating areas, hammocks and pool. The house was very well equipped and, as keen cooks, this was perfect as we could visit local markets during the day and then cook feasts in the evening. Esther was a very helpful host, giving good information about the local area and kindly supplying us with logs for the lovely fire in the living room"
