"My husband and I loved our stay. We were given detailed instructions by Jonathan of how to get to the cottage (which was very helpful because it’s quite off the grid) qand were greeted by him when we arrived. Jonathan lives right next door, which we found helpful if we needed any help with directions or had questions about the place. The view is stunning - truly took my breath away. Walking around the area was the best part of my 2 weeks in Ireland. Highly recommend this place, even if it’s just for the conversation with Jonathan alone. Thank you for everything, Jonathan!"

"This is a cutesy bed and breakfast! The staff was very kind. We checked in on a Saturday night in the evening (which we recognize is always busy) and they did the best they could. The facility is being remodeled, but the stairs to get up to the rooms is tiny and hard to carry large suitcases. The walls are very thin and our bed was creaky. Along with that, the neighborhood teens/young adults showed up to party at the bar and were very loud and rude and it was hard to fall asleep. The three star review doesn’t account for this, just something to be aware of. This is a great pit stop place if you’re passing by and need somewhere to stay for the night. "

"The room was new and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. This hotel was contactless. The only issue we encountered was that the directions to the back of the hotel were not as clear as they could be. There are two sections, one is around the building and, not technically, in the back. It was a bit confusing, and thankfully, a lovely Irish woman helped us."

"The room was large and comfortable and I slept well. The bathroom was fine as was the food with a good choice for n evening meal. While there was music the bar shut when the dining was completed which I thought was disappointing. The location was perfect as it was in the middle of Kenmare which in turn is a lovely town with plenty of food places and pubs."
