"Great place directly across the road from Creeper Trail/AT. The house had everything we needed and no problem getting checked in. Damascus is a great town with hiking and restaurants. The house was basically very clean except for some of the fine details - baseboards and things like that. We'd stay again in a heartbeat and recommend this cute house to anyone."

"We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. "We recently stayed at the parsonage, three generations, and enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exactly as stated in the description. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. The host gave clear directions throughout the whole booking process. We enjoyed a fire by the amazing "babbling brook", and my grandchildren had so much fun playing air hockey in the basement. Two recommendations: 1)guest bedroom mattress needs upgrade 2) remove poison ivy around tree at grill site/outside light plug."

"I rented the cabin by myself for 4 nights because I was running the New River Marathon. It is a beautiful area and the cabin was perfect and way more than enough for 1 person. The area is rugged…my Jeep definitely got workout. Only complaints stem from the hot tub…got a bad skin infection from it and had to take antibiotics for 10 days to clear it up. The hot tub is also surrounded by beautiful flowering bushes which is fine as long as you are ok with bee’s…they are pretty busy in that area....
