Southern cottage close to downtown with shopping and restaurants

Fun awaits in the southern stylish 2 bed, 2 bath cottage facing Euclid Park located in the heart of downtown Laurel, MS. Just a short walk to shops, restaurants and homes renovated by HGTV show Hometown hosted by Ben and Erin. This getaway is perfect for family, friends or even just yourself.

Whether sitting outside on the patio or curled up with a cup of coffee binge watching your favorite shows, there is something for everyone. Love to cook then dine in. Enjoy a little friendly competition we have, games, cards and puzzles. For the book lover there is a great spot on the swing in the backyard or the Adirondack chairs in front.

Guest access
There is a two vehicle car port located behind the main house. The back door will have a coded key pad to make checking in simple. I will send you the code the week before your arrival.

The Vintage House

The house needs an entire update if the owners expect to rent it. No shower in one bathroom and furniture was very uncomfortable. Floors were dirty!! Beds were comfortable thank goodness. Smells very old. Liz the host was very nice and helpful!! Would never stay there again!!

A little nostalgia make things great!

The owner made sure everything was ready. She called me to see how my travels were going. She sent me the code to enter the house. The kitchen took us back to the 50’s and 60’s. Finding the hidden washer was so fun! The furniture took us back to our grandparents’ home. So fun! We stayed on a street where two homes had appeared on Hometiwn!

We got to the house on Monday after 4. I started checking emails for code to get in . My husband went to back door and said it was unlocked. We went in and the house was stuffy, we started turning on fans . Wanted to go out for dinner but couldn’t lock up house. No paper with wi-fi or anything. Finally got some one who was very helpful and gave us the codes for both. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the pink bathroom. Enjoyed the town, and BJ on the Bolton golf cart tour.

Girls weekend

It’s a very cute little house. Better lighting in the bathrooms would be nice. There was 2 bathrooms, but only 1 shower. It made it difficult to get ready for the day.
