Excellent stay! The only request I have is that the hallway lights dim after 10pm. The light that comes in through the transom window made it difficult for the guests who slept on the pullout to sleep. Otherwise, very nice accommodations!
The room and common living areas are beautiful. The restaurant/bar had very good food. They only serve beer and a few frozen drinks. No mixed drinks or wine. We stayed in the Laurel room and I new the train station was a working station however we did not realize that it would run at 10pm 11pm 12pm 3am 5am so even though that is THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in my life neither my husband or I slept much do to continuously getting woken up by the train. Not sure if the furthest room would’ve been better. We most likely will not stay on the train line a second time. Glad for the one time experience. Again beautifully done just need some sound proofing.
