Owners will mooch every penny off of you
1) this is a SHARED PROPERTY. This is not disclosed in listing. The owners are next door, they converted the backyard of the house into being their yard as well, so you’re left with only the front yard and you feel like they’re watching your every move.
2) the owner offered linen service, which was really just her making the bed with her sheets that had holes in them. So I basically just paid money to have her do her laundry.
3) they charge you for beach passes. The first jersey shore home I’ve ever stayed at that I have to pay for badges. It is common practice to have 5-6 included in listing.
4) kitchen is poorly stocked, there isn’t even tall glasses.
5) the “bikes included” are rusty bikes that had all flat tires.
Overall felt like these people were squeezing every penny out of me and my family. And again, this is a shared property. That NEEDS to be disclosed.
