For $75 a night cant ask for much. Bed was comfortable and water was hot. But going off the Fruit Flies in the room and the questionable stains on the towels the room might have been a murder scene previously. Staff on front office was friendly! Would stay again but bringing my own towels and a can of Raid.

The young lady at check in was phenomenal. She double checked the room and turned on the heat before issuing me a room key. She was as very accommodating and made the visit extremely pleasant.

Don't stay unless they change some things

It was extremely clean but toilet seat was broken. Needed to check in 40 minutes early and was told a $30 charge. So wanted to wait but needed to pee and was told lobby bathroom was out of order. The bad coffee and only breakfast offer was a muffin and honey bun. Only 2 of each of these were put out.A big plus was the young lady came to show me how to work the 2 remote controls for the TV.

Doors did not close/latch properly. Free breakfast was non-existent, except for coffee. Paint drips on bathroom floor. Battery dead in TV remote. Key had to be re-programed to open door on 2nd day. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping was excellent

Not the Days Inn of Old

Ten to fifteen years ago, I stayed at Days Inn's almost exclusively because they were really nice, clean, new or recently renovated, had daily maid service, breakfast, comfy lobbies, and no creepy workers. I was quite shocked when I pulled off the road and landed at this Days Inn in Lavonia, GA. The lady who greeted me at the front desk was very nice and cordial, but that's where the good part of the experience ended. The entire place looked like it needed to be raked over and hauled to the landfill. There were broken down and wrecked cars parked in the spaces in front of my unit. Some were loaded with belongings that identified them as belonging to people that were down on their luck. The door to the unit was so far out-of-whack that there was a one-inch wide gap down the side that was letting in cold air and sunlight. The floors were dirty, the furniture was dirty and stained, and the bedspread was so stained and discolored it looked unhealthy. The bed sheets were no better. Yellowed and stained made me think I needed to bring out the ultra-violet light! While I was unpacking my stuff, an older man, looking like maintenance, came up to the windows, put his hands around his face and peered in the window to see what I was doing. I yelled at him, "Hey, what do you think you're doing?" and he pecked on the window and walked away. No daily maid service and no toilet paper refills were not a surprise. The toilet inside of the shower, though, that was just too much. DON'T!!!

Checked in and checked out. Room was not acceptable. Bed sheets had hair on them. Bugs on mattress. Left and went to another hotel.
