You are steps away from a great stream, and the grounds have been shaped to give you a private setting. The hosts are communicative and responsive. Best place I've stayed in the Driftless over the last 20 years"

"Parking was fine until the roofers asked me to move my car because they needed the space for a huge dumpster. Roofers? While someone is using your property? Really frustrated that the host apparently had NO IDEA that Wednesday would start with a lot of hammering and noise around 7am. They were throwing all manner of debris off the roof, a lot of it landing on the porch, making it a dangerous proposition to enter and exit the property. When notified, the host said he would "talk to them" and never communicated after that. I understand that they aren't going to stop for one tenant, but why not just block the date so that there aren't any problems? And....if you don't know when these things are going to happen--shame on you. Who owns this place anyway?If I had known this was the situation I would have arrived and departed a day earlier--but no notice was given. Really amateurish on the one hand, and not really communicating with me on the other. A real failure."

"Great spot to stay for a weekend getaway or fishing trip. Quiet, secluded, clean and room for activities of all kinds. Had a great stay and would stay here again!"

"This was an absolute terrible stay. It was obvious this room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. We immediately found hair (not ours) all over the sheets, everything had a coating of dust, makeup on the pillowcases, we couldn't take off our shoes from the dirty floor, and lastly we found blood on the towels."

"Rooms were nice, clean. Refrigerator in the room was nice and it was already on. Breakfast was good, Eggs were warm, could have been a little hotter. Otherwise, no complaints. Swimming pool would have been nice also."
