"The house was everything we needed, opposite a pub and the swimming pool. The villagers were very friendly and helpfull, especially in the swimming pool. Unfortunately the internet stopped working on the third day but the rental company responded out of hours to help sort it out.."

"Sheepfold Barn, as the name suggests, is a well presented barn conversion with lots of light and is fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. The location is fantastic with great dog walks on the doorstep. Being lambing season we were entertained by the frolicking lambs as we relaxed in the jacuzzi. Our dogs were very well behaved, initially curious but the long walks made them too tired to care. "Accurately advertised. You can literally see a mile castle on Hadrian’s Wall from your room. Beautiful country views. A problem with our heat was addressed immediately. Excellent dinner choices and service in the cozy pub. "

"The cottage was in a prime location to all the amenities and a short trip to the beautiful countryside for walks. The cottage fulfilled all our needs and was very comfortable. You only needed to look out if the window to see lots of wildlife. Sadly we had to cut our stay short but we will definitely be booking this cottage again."
