"Novel experience having Bed&Breakfast in former stables. The refurbishment had been done to a high standard with attractive decor. A delightful French breakfast with croissant, bread, cheese, and jams. We liked the fact that car parking was behind security gates. Only booked for 1 night, but would happily have stayed longer. Would recommend."

"We have thought hard about this review because the people that run the hotel are very nice people who are very welcoming. Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. When we entered the room it actually looked great with the bedroom being separate and up one flight of stairs but there was a damp musty smell that we thought may have just been from being closed. "We were a little disappointed with the room, as although it was charmingly decorated, there was little space to store clothing and therefore it wasn’t convenient for the 9 nights that we’d booked it for. Hence, we moved out and found somewhere else to stay after 4 nights. One of the beams near the bed was in fact quite dangerous if you got out of bed during the night. My wife banged her shoulder on this and you could easily bang your head if half asleep. It’s the sort of place where you’d only...
